A Better Experience

Our home is our safe place, where we go to be ourselves and unwind after a day's end. It's where most of us spend the most time at, whether we're sleeping, having a family dinner or cleaning. We are exposed to the same environment all the time, which makes it important to consider how our interior design choices and preferences affect our well-being.

Many don't know about the benefits and consequences of displaying certain aspects of decoration, such as the colour of our bedroom walls or the fabric of our living room couch. And the ones that do underestimate how big of an impact they make.

With tips and tricks, it's not difficult to create a relaxing, productive environment while being fashionable at the same time. A happy home is a happy life!

Bet You Didn't Know...

For most of us, going out shopping for the latest home decorations and trendy furniture is nothing more than an exciting and rewarding experience. Spending weeks picking out the next colour of the living room walls is effortful but when we are satisfied, we can't wait to see the new changes.

But have you thought about how our choices of what we display at home may impact how we live our lives?

Although it's hard to believe, the smallest of choices in how we choose to furnish our homes can change our mood for the day, how we feel about ourselves, or how we perform, both consciously and subconsciously. The scent of a space may trigger a certain memory and the way the light shines in through a window may give off a certain vibe. These factors and many more make significant impacts on our mood and wellbeing.

Our Goal

We want to inspire people to not only make mindful choices about what they display at home but also look at the process of decorating as a way of finding out more about themselves and what is best for them when it comes to a relaxed and productive environment.

We encourage people of all ages to feel good at home, and create a space where they can be themselves and thrive.

Guiding this process with ideas and tips that will help make the right choices for YOU, we are hoping to earn the attention of open-minded people who want to make big improvements in their lives by taking small steps towards this goal. Patience and creativity is the key.

RED OR BEIGE?

Being one of the most important factors and decisions when reforming a home, colour schemes have an important effect on our well-being. Whether you choose to paint your living room bright red or a more relaxed beige makes a remarkable difference. Learn more about colour and its impact above.

Leather or synthetics?

Fabric might not be the first thing on your mind when you shop for furniture. But once you've been confronted with the dizzying range of fabric choices, you'll be able to make a better decision if you know some basic information about the textiles and their pros and cons. Learn more about them up above.

Vintage or modern?

If you want to go for a classic look, do you choose antique, traditional, or mid-century style furniture? And what is the difference between contemporary and modern? Everyone has a unique taste in the furniture by which they decorate their homes, but it can be hard to find "your look" if you don't know what to look for. Learn about how to do this above.

Where should that window be placed?

Light placement and exposure makes a huge impact on our health. But the right space and aesthetics can make us instantly feel good about where we're spending most of our time. What use are stunning aesthetics if a person inside is stifled by heat from a badly placed window, or unable to arrange furniture neatly inside? You can learn how to balance light and space above.

Your home should tell the story of who you are, and be a collection of what you love.
